EARLY CAREER AWARD IN PLASMA MEDICINE (ECAPM)

The Early Career Award in Plasma Medicine (ECAPM) will be awarded to early-career researchers who achieved outstanding work and made a significant contribution to the advancement in the field of Plasma Medicine (independently from their mentors or advisors if any). Normally, the ECAPM is awarded by the ISPM Board typically to one individual every two years during the International Conference on Plasma Medicine. However, it is at the discretion of the ISPM Board to award the ECAPM to multiple individuals or to no individual.

The following procedure will be used to implement this rule:

  1. The ISPM president will request nominations for candidates for the ECPMA no later than three months before the ISPM Board meeting at the International Conference on Plasma Medicine (ICPM).
  2. Nominations will be requested from the entire membership of the ISPM. Nominations need to contain a nomination letter, describing the achievements of the candidate and a complete curriculum vitae.
